Inspiration/Statement - to appear on wall card: This scene caught my eye when visiting Taquile Island, on Lake Titicaca in Peru. The bright geraniums, the sun-baked wall, the clay jug and the hanging passion fruit vine were all contrasted beautifully against the blue of the sky.

Inspiration/Statement - to appear on wall card: This beautiful rhodo, officially called Unique, sits on the corner of my patio and comes out in dark pink buds and slowly turns white when finally fully in bloom. Every year, this is a beautiful process to watch.

Inspiration/Statement - to appear on wall card: Romneya poppies are the most magical flowers to paint for an watercolourist. As we don't use white, we can play with all the shadows and create the texture of a white flower. They are large and joyful flowers, dancing in the air.

Inspiration/Statement - to appear on wall card: Of all birds, Hummingbirds seem to have an otherworldly quality to them. They flit about like fairies and they reflect the sun on their dazzling throat feathers. I think if a hummingbird were to live in a seashell it would be pick an abalone shell, and if it were to have a favourite flower, it would be sweet peas.

Inspiration/Statement - to appear on wall card: We are all interconnected. We are all made of the things we consume. The butterflies pollinate the flowers that feed the bees that feed the birds that eat the fish which swim around the abalones that nestle in the bottom of the sea. What would it look like if we could see that interconnectedness with our eyes?

Inspiration/Statement - to appear on wall card: Intentional abstract photography such as this ICM technique (intentional camera movement) offers me the opportunity to bend the reality of what is visible and transform it into a sentiment that feels surreal and dream like. Techniques such as this one give me the privilege of truly painting with light. It is an opportunity to step away from the habitual realism expected from photography.

Inspiration/Statement - to appear on wall card: When I pause for lunch at my studio, I go outside to sit by the edge of the Lagoon shore. In the summer the Queen Anne's Lace is hip deep and dancing a quite, mystical dance to the sounds of the birds and wind. I'm spellbound!

Inspiration/Statement - to appear on wall card: Come spring, Victoria becomes an explosion of colour as flowers and tree blossoms bloom. I was admiring the flowers along the Inner Harbour and knew I wanted to capture their beauty on canvas. The painting ended up being my largest and most rewarding piece to date.
